Carolyn McCall is Chief Executive of Guardian Media Group plc, which comprises Guardian News & Media, GMG Regional Media, GMG Radio, GMG Property Services, Trader Media Group and Emap.
Carolyn was a non-executive director of Tesco Plc (2004-2008), and of New Look plc (1999-2004). She is Chair of Opportunity Now, the UK’s leading membership organisation for gender equality and diversity at work, and a former President of Women in Advertising and Communications London (WACL).
Carolyn was awarded the OBE for services to women in business in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List in June 2008. In April 2008 she was named Veuve Clicquot Business Woman of the Year.
